Double-Headed Serpent represents Spaceships in Fusion

There is an an ancient chant of Ran Iraya tribe of Central Panay that told a story of two  humongous mythical serpents copulating in order to travel back to the distant star.
The serpents were called Bakunawa with  body described as,  as big as the hill and with a mouth as wide as the mouth of the river.

In today's interpretation the serpent represent a spaceship and the copulation was a fusion of a certain parts of their bodies in order to generate a kind of energy that can be harnessed in their inter-stellar travel.
